Home Physio Fees
We are aware of the huge benefit gained when it is possible to integrate home and clinic visits in a care package where there is a seamless transfer between the physiotherapists involved in both home and clinic. Please ask for further details of care packages available from your physiotherapist once they have seen you and assessed your likely treatment needs to make a full recovery.

Most medical insurance companies require you to be referred by your GP or a medical Consultant prior to attending for treatment. Some companies recognise that this is not always possible and have their own medical helplines which are able to authorise a referral for treatment. If you are paying for your treatment yourself you will NOT need a referral as Physiotherapists are independent practitioners. We may, with your consent, contact your GP to inform them of your attendance at our clinic.
We normally book a 45 minute session for your first appointment, this is to allow sufficient time to get a full picture of your problem, formulate a treatment plan and begin your treatment. Should you only use a 30 minute slot then you will only be charged our 30 minute cost. Follow up appointments are usually booked for 30 minutes. If you have complex problems then you may require a 60 minute appointment which is charged at £80.
Your first appointment
At your first appointment your physiotherapist will want to undertake a full assessment of your problem, this may require you to undress depending on which part of your body is to be examined and treated. Dressing gowns and shorts are available if required. Many patients attend wearing sports clothing. Please telephone the clinic for specific advice if you are uncertain.
Paying for your treatment
You may pay for your appointment with cash, cheque or credit/debit card ( NOT American Express). If you have provided us with your insurance company details and a claim/authorisation number we will bill your insurance company directly. Please check your policy terms and conditions with your Private Medical Health Insurer as in most cases you will be liable to pay any insurance excess directly to Physio2go Ltd. (even where the policy is provided as a benefit by your employer).
Using Private Health Insurance
Physio2go® is a preferred provider for Bupa (provider no.80003632) and AXA PPP (provider no.ZZ00968). Please check with our reception team when booking an appointment that your chosen Physiotherapist at Physio2go is registered with the insurance company via the Physio2go list. We are also recognised by most other major insurance companies, however you will need to check with your insurer that you are able to select the practice of your choice to undertake your physiotherapy treatment.
Cancellation or non-attendance
If you are unable to attend an appointment then please contact us as soon as possible to cancel your appointment or to rearrange for another time. We would appreciate 24 hours notice and reserve the right to charge for an appointment not cancelled within this time. You will not be charged if we are able to rebook the cancelled appointment time to another patient.
