I’ve had 4 years of intermittent neck pain. During this time I’ve managed the pain by trying a variety of different therapists in the hope of finding relief but also a diagnosis . This has included 2 chiropractors, 3 Osteopaths, 3 Physiotherapists and sports massage. I’ve also been referred by the GP to the St Albans city hospital physio therapy department for a full assessment. None of these specialists could provide an answer as to why I was having these issues, they simply alleviated the discomfort for a while. I had largely accepted that this had become a chronic condition that I’d have to live with . Paul’s initial assessment found an entirely different cause. The problem was not in fact with my neck but rather with the A/C joint in my shoulder . Since starting treatment with Paul there has been a marked improvement and I now feel better equipped to deal with an episode of pain. His exercise program has strengthened my shoulder and I have much more movement in the joint as a result of his joint mobilisation treatment. He also wrote a letter to my GP and I was referred for a MRI scan which confirmed his diagnosis. I finally have a diagnosis and treatment plan that is accurate and effective. Thank you
"I sought your help for neck pain which I had put down to stressful desk job, but your thorough assessment suggested that other issues I was experiencing could be connected and you insisted on my GP making a neurological referral. Following an MRI scan, the consultant diagnosed a very serious condition: hydrocephalus resulting from a brain tumour. I was immediately admitted for surgery, which I am relieved went very well and I have just had the best news possible that the tumour was benign! I cannot thank you enough.”
"Since seeing Susanne she has really helped me and I have felt really good, she's an asset to the team."
"After months of pain from a slipped disc, acupuncture has helped me feel human again."
"I DID IT! Thanks so much for all your help and getting me through the training."
"Fiona, Thank you for all you have done. When I first came to you I was very depressed about my shoulder and even more so after I had seen my Consultant. With all your expertise and exercises I now feel I can play golf again. You certainly have lifted my spirits, Joan."
"Just a little thank you for all your support during the latter stages of my pregnancy. It was certainly a great relief in those final few weeks just to keep mobile. Sarah."
"Thank you so much for my new neck. I can't believe how quickly you sorted it out. Rebecca."
"Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Back in the early days of January I never thought I would play hockey again. I played 45 minutes last Saturday in a very good game (although we lost 1-0) and really did enjoy it. I really do appreciate your skills."
"Just returned from our weeks skiing holiday in Cervinia, Italy with no bones broken and not a twinge in the shoulder! I think we've cracked it! Thank you so much, regards, Julie"
"Just a quick word of thanks. Sam and I had a perfect skiing holiday and my leg was absolutely fine. That was thanks entirely to you! Thanks again, Martin"
"Many thanks for the treatment a week ago now. Just that one treatment has been very successful and I have no pain in my elbow at all at present. I managed the golf invitation day fine last Wednesday with no discomfort. I was most fortunate to get the cancellation on the day and I appreciated you fitting me in. Judy."
"Thank you ever so much for managing to get my foot back to normal and enable me to run the half marathon. I managed 1 hour 59 mins which I was so pleased with especially because I always wanted to run it under 2 hours. There was a point for a minute where I didn't think I would be able to even run it but with your amazing equipment and expertise, I managed to. We raised £10,000 as our final amount for the ECH hospital so I know you will understand why this was extremely important to me. Thank you so much, Amanda."
"Very many thanks for all your help - I am definitely back on the bowling green - and all is well."
"Shoulder did not let me down during my travels and I'm pleased to say seems to be near normal. Thanks for your expertise and kindness."

“I found the physio2go home visit service of great value after my knee replacement surgery on two counts: Firstly, it gave me re-assurance in the immediate post-operative stage when I had no bench marks from previous experience about my mobility. Secondly I was able to target from the start the exercises most beneficial to my recovery and start my physiotherapy in a disciplined way."
“I have a background in practising yoga and tai chi along with a general interest in ensuring that I remain fit and mobile for at least the next couple of decades or possibly longer. At almost 60, some of my similarly aged colleagues are throwing in the towel. I think the towel can be used as a fitness tool. In the spirit of catching people doing something right, I want to ring my endorsement both of Pilates and of the way that Julienne Arden-Rose guides, coaches, cajoles and helps me get far better results than I could have anticipated. Now that I'm approaching 60, Pilates and Julienne together are significantly helping to correct some of my physical/postural faults developed over far too many years hunched over a PC keyboard. If you are prepared to put some work in then I thoroughly recommend Julienne Arden-Rose and Pilates as a route to regaining person-shape rather than looking like a question-mark.”
"Just wanted to let you know that I successfully completed the London marathon in 4.16 -a respectable time that owes a lot to your treatment on my knee and encouragement to keep going . So many thanks for your help which was much appreciated."

Just seen a patient of yours. Very pleased with your physio – very good results.
Thank you Mark I am 80% better today walking ok I am so grateful!
I just want to thank you for your expert treatment, there's been a huge turnaround thanks to you!
I saw Mark a few weeks ago with foot pain from running which he diagnosed as mild plantar fascitis from wearing my very old trainers with worn down soles. He recommended I went to a specialist store to buy running shoes. They recommended me a neutral shoe and it's working well for me, have been running 4-5 times and am pain free. So thanks very much for the diagnosis and the recommendation.
“I had to undergo bilateral knee replacement recently following an accident, After the operation physiotherapy was essential, but the journey to and from the hospital proved counter-productive and Physio2Go was recommended because physios there would treat me at home. In due course, Fiona Jacobsen arrived, and with her help and guidance, I have made tremendous progress. Her professional approach coupled with infinite patience (I was not her easiest patient!) has been remarkable and now, eight months post-operatively, I am walking normally. In the past few months, there have been times when I was close to despair, but Fiona's firmness and encouragement, mixed with a sense of humour have kept me going. Needless to say, I am extremely grateful to her and can highly recommend her to anyone in a similar situation.”
“Friendly staff – always polite and excellent physios. Reception and waiting area great. Thank you.”
“I can not thank you enough for getting my mum to our wedding. Your hands are amazing”
“What would I have done without Mark to sort me out over the years! Thanks for your continuing perseverance!”
“Fantastic receptionist and experienced, skilful physios. Thank you.”
