Fiona incorporates acupuncture as a modality for pain relief in many of her treatment regimes.(Link to Acupuncture article)
“I believe that following a thorough assessment a physiotherapist should work together with his/her patients, setting realistic targets and time lines. This helps to structure the patient rehabilitation and facilitates recovery.”
Fiona is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and the CSP Electrotherapy and Diagnostic Ultrasound Professional Network. She has completed the Cyriax course in orthopaedic medicine and regularly participates in post graduate courses particularly relating to acupuncture to continue her professional development.
What our patients say about Fiona Jacobsen MCSP Physiotherapist
Joan MitchellSt Albans
"Fiona, Thank you for all you have done. When I first came to you I was very depressed about my shoulder and even more so after I had seen my Consultant. With all your expertise and exercises I now feel I can play golf again. You certainly have lifted my spirits, Joan."
