COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and your treatment at Physio2go

Here at Physio2go we are as concerned as everyone else to work to contain the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus).

We find ourselves in a very vulnerable position as the very nature of our work requires us to manually touch all our patients repetitively throughout our consultations. This places ourselves and our patients in a very high risk category for potential transfer and spread of the COVID-19 virus.

In order to mitigate the possible spread we are constantly reviewing the advice from Public Health England and have decided to be over cautious.

Please bear with us but for everyone’s best interests we have decided that we will not be able to treat/allow into the clinic:

1. Anyone displaying any cold or ‘flu symptoms – e.g. fever (high temperature), cough, runny nose, respiratory infection etc.

2. Anyone who has returned from ANY travel abroad within the last 14 days.

3. Anyone who has had contact with a person confirmed as a case of Coronavirus within the last 14 days.

4. Anyone from a household which is in self-imposed isolation (as detailed by the British Government’s statement of Monday 16th March 2020) even if you have no symptoms currently.

Once you (and your household) are symptom free and/or have been back in the UK for 14 days we will be very happy to continue treating you.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact reception and we will try our best to provide you with an answer.

Any contact with an infected person within the clinic is likely to lead to a closure (of the clinic) which could be for two weeks at a time and could be repetitive. If any of our staff (medical and/or administrative) are compromised they will not be able to work for a minimum of 14 days.

I hope you can appreciate that we have everyone’s best health interests at heart in making this decision.
