Sports massage has an important role to play in the life of any athlete/sports person whether injured or not.

Sports massage is not just for the high level athlete. Anyone with a loss of flexibility and tightness within muscle groups would benefit. Examples would be those who suffer with tension/tightness in their neck and shoulders from poor posture whilst sitting at their computer or low back pain after gardening.

You will need to expose the part to be massaged; your therapist will use a variety of massage techniques to identify your problem areas. The tissues will then be worked on; oil or massage cream may be used.
